Hello Friends,
I hope everyone
is enjoying the beginning of summer!
We have lots of things going on in the intermountain area. The
fourth of
July is just around the corner, and all volunteers involved are busy
working on
this year’s events. We have a couple of them right here on our
property. The first is the “Friday Night Social” held on
Friday July 1st from 7pm-11pm. “The Billies” will
be performing and we will be serving beer, wine, and soft drinks along
with Hors
de vours. Lots of fun for the whole family!
The next day,
Saturday July 2nd is our Burney
Basin Days parade complete with fire trucks, festive floats, and even
bed
races! Just before the parade we will be hosting a “Kiddie
Carnival”.
Fun carnival games at a reasonable price, with a prize every
time! The
game booths are ran by local sports teams, youth groups and
organizations and
are sponsored by the local businesses.
For more
information on the happenings during Burney Basin
Days contact Windy at 530-335-2111 or go to the chamber website www.burneychamber.com.
On Saturday
June 26th we will be at the Fall
River Valley Library for their annual “Taste of Fall River” from
4-6:30pm. The event will boast wine & beer tasting with a
commemorative
glass along with local restaurants giving samples of their
cuisine. The donation
is $20 per person, the event is in the Libraries garden area.
We hope to see
you at our wonderful small town events!!
Salute,
Your friends at Angelina’s
